This Weeks Schedule


Tuesday 12/2/08 (training program one)


        5.15pm: Warm up for all. Please assemble on the track infront of the main grandstand by 5:15pm
        5.30pm: VICTOR - sprints, VALERIE - discus, JEFF - high jump (1.05mt to 1.25mt)
        5.45pm: Warm up for athletes arriving after 5:30pm. Please assemble on the track infront of the
                        main grandstand.
        6.00pm: VICTOR - hurdles, VALERIE - javelin, JEFF - 400-800-1500mt

Thursday 14/2/08 (training program two)

        5.15pm: Warm up for all. Please assemble on the track infront of the main grandstand by 5:15pm
        5.30pm: VICTOR - sprints, VALERIE - shot put, JEFF - high jump (1.30mt & over)
        5.45pm: Warm up for athletes arriving after 5:30pm. Please assemble on the track infront of the
                        main grandstand.
        6.00pm: VICTOR - Long jump, VALERIE - javelin, JEFF - high jump (1.30mt & over)

Tuesday 19/2/08 (training program three)


        5.15pm: Warm up for all. Please assemble on the track infront of the main grandstand by 5:15pm
        5.30pm: VICTOR - sprints, VALERIE - discus, JEFF - high jump (.70mt to 1.05mt)
        5.45pm: Warm up for athletes arriving after 5:30pm. Please assemble on the track infront of the
                        main grandstand.
        6.00pm: VICTOR - hurdles, VALERIE - javelin, JEFF - 400-800-1500mt

Thursday 21/2/08 (training program four)

        5.15pm: Warm up for all. Please assemble on the track infront of the main grandstand by 5:15pm
        5.30pm: VICTOR - sprints, VALERIE - shot put, JEFF - high jump (1.30mt & over)
        5.45pm: Warm up for athletes arriving after 5:30pm. Please assemble on the track infront of the
                        main grandstand.
        6.00pm: VICTOR - Triple jump, VALERIE - javelin, JEFF - high jump (1.30mt & over)

Then we will rotate through the 4 programs again:

Tues 26th Feb - training program 1
Thur 28th Feb - training program 2
Tues 4th Mar - training program 3
Thur 6th Mar - training program 4

After the end of the summer T&F season we will have a tuesday Training session each week for cross country on tuesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and for those wanting to keep up their fitness and improve their running endurance...
Currently at Caulfield we have have Victor, Valerie and Jeff offering all of our athletes specialist coaching as per the schedule above. Whilst Jeff is a familiar face to our athletes and parents, Victor and Valerie are relatively new.

Athletes need to arrive on time and participate in the group warm up. Warming up is an is an important part of the training session. We will hold two warm up sessions the first begining at 5:15pm on the track in front of the grandstand, and for those that only want to attend the second part of the session at 5:45pm

We ask that all parents take an active role at training to ensure their children get as much out of each session as they desire.

With the younger and new children we need parents to play a more active role by ensuring they get to their chosen coaching group, remain with and follow the instruction of the coaches at all times.

Our parents that are more familiar with the centre can also assist with the set up, distribution and pack up of coaching equipment.

Our coaches are working with children of all ages and ability levels, and the more assistance you can offer them, the more our athletes and your children will be able to gain out of each session.
