Winter Cross Country Season 2023/24

Registrations for 2023/2024 Cross Country Season will open in April 2024.

If you did not register with Caulfield Little Athletics for the 2023/24 Summer season, you will need to pay the Little Athletics joining fee of $55. This will cover:

  • Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) membership and insurance
  • Participation in the LAVic winter cross country competition
  • Free weekly coaching session which is optional to attend

New athletes are encouraged to attend one free Competition day at Bayside Cross Country and one free Training session on a Monday night before registering. Click here for more information.

What happens when you Register

Registration is complete when you have filled in the details online at the LAVic website and if a new member, shown proof of age.

A competition patch is produced for all registered members and will be issued to you on your first competition morning and must be kept for the entire Winter Cross Country season. (We suggest laminating your competition patch to ensure its longevity).

A reminder that competition patches will NOT be issued until a committee member has sighted evidence of the athlete’s date of birth. Acceptable documentation includes a passport, birth certificate or child health record. The documents may be scanned/photographed and emailed to registrar@caulfieldlittleaths.org.au.


Registrations for the 2023/24 Summer Season have now closed as our season has finished.

When registrations open again in late August/early September you can either:

  • Register as a Returning Member or
  • Register as a New Member

Fees are $220 for the first child in a family, $200 for a second child and $180 for third and subsequent children.

Membership covers:

  • Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) membership and insurance
  • Participation in the Caulfield Little Athletics summer season competition
  • Free weekly coaching sessions which are optional to attend

Parents must also nominate for a duty role before their child/ren’s patch is issued and results are uploaded onto the system. Families with an U6 On Track athlete are not required to nominate for duty .

Uniforms

A Caulfield singlet or T-shirt are compulsory uniform during competition for all age groups with the exception of U6 On Track. Uniforms are available for purchase on competition mornings. Click here to view our Uniform price list.

Age Groups

All athletes compete with other children of the same age. The age group for your child is determined by your child’s age on 31st December 2023.

Children who turn 5 before 31st December 2023 are able to register for the start of the season. Children who turn 5 after the 1st January 2024 are required to wait until they are 5 before they are able to register.

Cancellations

The LAVic component of the registration is non-refundable. The CLAC component will only be refunded under extraordinary circumstances after approval by the Executive Committee. Requests must be made in writing to the Secretary.
